英语四级：三分钟学到一个必考知识点 我不禁笑出了声！

那么接下来我们进入今天的知识点复习。当我们写作文或者做翻译的时候，想要表达一个‘最...的’，大多数时候都只会用例如‘biggest’，‘greatest’和‘cleverest’或者‘most important’‘most careful’这种，但是这种没有新意的翻译或者写作真的能拿到分吗，不一定哦。所以我们今天来复习另一种表示‘最....的’方法。先来测一测：

Tom is shorter than ______ students in his class.Tom是他班级里边个子最高的。

A.all the other

B.all the others

C.any other

你的答案是什么呢？不用急，先来看看知识点解析。

知识点解析：

比较级表示最高级：

比较级+than any other +单数名词，比如：Being a mother of tiny children is more exhausting thanany other job.

做一个小孩子的母亲比其他工作都要累人。

比较级+than all the other +复数名词，比如：The subway is better than all the other means of public transportation.

地铁比其他公众交通工具都好。

PS：the other+复数名词可以用the other替换

PS：means是‘方法，手段’的意思，单复数同形。

否定词表示最高级：

否定词+so/as+原级+as 比如：No other mans of public transportation is as good as the subway.

否定词+比较级+than 比如：No other means of public transportation is betterthan the subway.

具有最高级意义的单词：名词，比如bottom

These goods are sold atbottom price.

这些商品卖的是最低价。

形容词，比如maximum和minimum

The boss pays me minimumwage,i wish he would pay me more!

老板给我发了最低薪水，我希望他能多付一点。
