Identification for Passenger Cars and Their Parts

1 SCOPE

This standard specifies the requirements for identification markings to be placed on major parts of passenger vehicles.

This Standard applies to vehicles of Category M1.

The identifications for other vehicle components or assemblies may use this standard as a reference.

3 TERMS AND DEFINITIONS

For the purpose of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.

3.1

Interior surface

“Interior surface” means, with respect to a vehicle part, a surface that is not directly exposed to sun or rain.

4 车辆及部件识别标记的标识信息

车辆及部件识别标记的标识信息应为a）或b）之一:

a) 符合GB 16735 2004 规定的车辆识别代号（VIN);

b) 零部件（或总成）编号，该零部件（或总成）编号应具有可追溯性、唯一性，并且与安装该零部件（或总成）的车辆的VIN 一一对应。

5 车辆及部件识别标记的标示数量与标示位置

5. 1 乘用车应在行李舱的易见部位标示符合第4章中a）规定的车辆及部件识别标记，在变速器（或驱动电动机）上标示符合第4章中a）或b）规定的车辆及部件识别标记。

5.2 乘用车应至少有一处电子控制单元（ECU）不可改变地记录符合第4 章中a）规定的车辆及部件识别标记信息，该电子控制单元应提供有效的通讯接口读取车辆及部件识别标记信息，电子控制单元在通讯协议方面的设计应符合相应标准的规定。

5.3 除5.1 和5.2 的规定外，乘用车还应至少有5 个零部件（或总成〉标示符合第4 章中a）或b）规定的车辆及部件识别标记。车辆制造商可自行确定需要标示车辆及部件识别标记的零部件（或总成）种类。

5.4 5.3 中规定的标示车辆及部件识别标记的零部件（或总成〉不包括按照GB 16735-2004 中5.2.2 、5.2.3、5.2.4 规定标示VIN 的零部件（或总成）。
