1 SCOPE
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for the photometric characteristics of front and rear position lamps, end-outline marker lamps and stop lamps for motor vehicles and their trailers.
This standard applies to the front and rear position lamps, end-outline marker lamps and stop lamps intended for motor vehicles and their trailers of categories M, N and O.
For the purpose of this standard, the various signal lamps mentioned above are also referred to as “device”.

3 术语和定义

3.1
可变光强控制器 variable intensity control
一种能自动控制可产生不同级别发光强度的后信号装置的器件,用以确保产生稳定可识别的光信号。可变光强控制器是装置或车辆的一部分,或是独立于上述装置和车辆之间的器件。

“D”灯 lamps marked “D”

互存灯系统 interdependent lamp system
两个或三个具有相同功能、相互依赖的灯具组合。

互存灯 interdependent lamp
互存灯系统的一部分的装置,工作时同时点亮;在基准轴线方向有独立的视表面和独立的灯体,也可能有独立的光源。

制动灯 stop lamp
向车辆后方其他使用道路者,表明车辆正在制动的灯具。制动灯可以通过缓速器或一种类似装置点亮。
